On Thursday, 17 April 2014, in the evening at 21:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Jūratės street near No. 3A, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 62-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
