On Friday, 18 April 2014, in the morning at 8:17, in Radviliškio district municipality, Žeimių village, on Kęstučio street near No. 14, a Peugeot 306 registered in Great Britain ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Peugeot (a citizen of Ireland) (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.05‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
