On Friday, 18 April 2014, in the evening at 21:06, in Panevėžys, on Smėlynės street, at the junction with Marijonų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Kawasaki, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
