On Sunday, 20 April 2014, in the afternoon at 16:28, in Plungės district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 100.30), a Kawasaki ZX-6R rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Kawasaki, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
