On Tuesday, 22 April 2014, in the morning at 7:07, in Vilnius, on Pavilnio street, a Mitsubishi Colt ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (0.56‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
