Drunk Audi driver in crash with Alfa Romeo on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta road
On Saturday, 26 April 2014, in the evening at 22:47, in Kauno district municipality, Salių village, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 2.75), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 Avant and an Alfa Romeo 156. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Audi (20 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (1.46‰ blood alcohol).
