On Sunday, 27 April 2014, at night at around 23:00, in Marijampolės municipality, on Kauno street near No. 82, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530, an Opel Ascona, a Volkswagen Passat and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the BMW (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.24‰ blood alcohol).
