On Thursday, 1 May 2014, in the afternoon at 13:49, in Plungės district municipality, on A. Vaišvilos street near No. 12, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Transporter and a Peugeot 407. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.91‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
