On Friday, 9 May 2014, in the evening at around 20:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Kalniškės village, on Kalniškės street, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.68‰ blood alcohol).
