On Saturday, 10 May 2014, at night at 2:10, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on P. Cvirkos street near No. 24, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525, an Opel Vectra and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
