On Thursday, 8 May 2014, in the afternoon at 11:16, in Trakų district municipality, on Mokyklos street near No. 11, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 and a Volkswagen NEW Beetle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
