On Tuesday, 20 May 2014, in the evening at 18:15, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Pakruojis–Pasvalys national road (kilometre 63), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN TGA 26.413, an Orten - and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the MAN (31 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
