On Friday, 23 May 2014, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kaunas, on Eivenių street near No. 2, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford C-MAX and a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Ford (41 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 10 km/h.
