On Monday, 26 May 2014, in the evening at 18:40, in Kretingos district municipality, on Melioratorių street, at the junction with Vytauto street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Nissan Terrano. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
