On Monday, 16 June 2014, in the morning at 7:50, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr. near No. 77, a Mercedes-Benz E300 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person died — a 63-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (8 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
