On Thursday, 19 June 2014, in the morning at 10:50, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 50.90), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Voyager and an Audi 100 Avant. Three people were injured — the 26-year-old driver of the Audi (hospitalized), a 0-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized) and a 48-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Chrysler (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
