On Monday, 23 June 2014, in the morning at 8:34, in Pasvalio district municipality, Krinčino town, on A. Vienažindžio street near No. 15, a Volkswagen Passat hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person died — a 85-year-old pedestrian. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed.
