On Thursday, 1 May 2014, in the morning at 10:30, in Kauno district municipality, Ilgakiemio village, at a gas station, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen ZX and an Audi 100. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Citroen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.51‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
