On Thursday, 3 July 2014, at night at 0:18, in Kaunas, on Vaidoto street near No. 163, a Renault Clio hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.42‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
