On Saturday, 5 July 2014, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Akmenės district municipality, on the Papilė–Eglesiai–Kruopiai regional road (kilometre 4), a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 Avant and a bicycle. One person was injured — a 11-year-old cyclist (hospitalized).
