On Wednesday, 9 July 2014, in the afternoon at 14:37, in Jonavos district municipality, on J. Ralio street, at the junction with Panerių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100, a KIA Motors Sportage and a Scania P 94 DB. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (3.15‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
