On Thursday, 10 July 2014, in the afternoon at 16:25, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr., at the junction with Birštono street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Honda CR-V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Audi (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
