On Thursday, 10 July 2014, in the evening at 18:50, in Kaunas, on V. Putvinskio street near No. 38, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and an Audi A3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Audi 80 (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
