On Friday, 11 July 2014, in the evening at 17:20, in Radviliškio district municipality, Skėmių village, on Beržų street near No. 34, at the junction with Kėdainių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Lipecko TG (LTZ) T-40AM and a Saab 9-3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Lipecko TG (LTZ) (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (2.26‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
