On Tuesday, 15 July 2014, at night at 3:40, in Klaipėda, on Naujakiemio street near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Voyager, a Volkswagen Passat, a Peugeot 406, a Mitsubishi Galant, a Nissan Almera Tino, a Chrysler Grand Voyager, a Mazda Demio and a Mazda 323. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Chrysler Voyager, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
