On Sunday, 13 July 2014, in the afternoon at 16:01, in Vilniaus district municipality, Mickūnų village, on the Vilnius–Polockas national road (kilometre 20.92), a head-on collision occurred. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
