On Tuesday, 15 July 2014, in the evening at 19:35, in Vilnius, on Konstitucijos pr., at the junction with Ukmergės street, a BMW 528 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person died — a 26-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
