On Wednesday, 16 July 2014, in the morning at 9:07, in Vilnius, on Nemenčinės pl., at the junction with Gvazdikų Sodų 1-oji street, a Honda CR-V hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 5-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized) and a 77-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 5-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway where prohibited. The driver was sober.
