On Wednesday, 16 July 2014, in the evening at 20:19, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Anykščiai–Troškūnai–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 40.70), on a bridge, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and an Opel Astra Station Wagon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 63-year-old cyclist, who failed to keep a safe distance.
