On Monday, 28 July 2014, in the evening at 21:53, in Klaipėda, on Audros street near No. 17, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 6 registered in Norway and a BMW 320D. Two people were injured — the 25-year-old driver of the Mazda (hospitalized) and a 4-year-old passenger of the Mazda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Mazda (3 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
