On Saturday, 2 August 2014, in the evening at 21:09, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Vingio street near No. 2, a collision occurred. The collision involved a Honda SCV 100 and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Honda, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
