On Sunday, 3 August 2014, in the evening at around 19:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Šiaulėnų street, at the junction with Darbininkų street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Hanglong HL50QT-21. Two people were injured — the 21-year-old driver of the Hanglong (hospitalized) and a 21-year-old passenger of the Hanglong (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Hanglong, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.85‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 21-year-old passenger of the Hanglong was drunk (1.93‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
