On Monday, 4 August 2014, in the afternoon at 12:29, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 49, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 316 and a Volkswagen Transporter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the BMW (34 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
