Unlicensed driver's Ford rolls over on the Lokėnai–Vepriai–Gelvonai road
On Sunday, 17 August 2014, at night at 2:35, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Lokėnai–Vepriai–Gelvonai regional road (kilometre 21.21), a Ford Puma rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
