On Sunday, 17 August 2014, in the morning at around 7:00, in Biržų district municipality, on the Biržai–Anglininkai–Papilys regional road (kilometre 19.30), an Audi A4 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Audi (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
