Hit-and-run, unlicensed driver runs off the road on the Anulynai–Tirkšliai road
On Tuesday, 19 August 2014, in the afternoon at 13:55, in Telšių district municipality, on the Anulynai–Tirkšliai regional road (kilometre 0.70), a Mazda 323 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
