On Sunday, 24 August 2014, in the evening at around 21:00, in Vilnius, on Sausio 13-osios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Piaggio NRG and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Piaggio (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
