On Saturday, 23 August 2014, in the evening at 20:46, in Telšių district municipality, on the Telšiai–Žarėnai–Tverai–Laukuva regional road (kilometre 5.70), a Renault Laguna rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.71‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
