On Sunday, 24 August 2014, at night at 3:30, in Telšių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 72.93), a Ford Focus rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Ford (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
