On Wednesday, 27 August 2014, in the evening at 18:16, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Sudmantų village, on Palangos pl. near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a DAF FA 95XF.430 registered in Ukraine, a Ford Fiesta and a Schmitz SKO 24 registered in Ukraine. One person was injured — a 65-year-old passenger of the Ford (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the DAF (a citizen of Ukraine) (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
