On Monday, 1 September 2014, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kaunas, on S. Žukausko street near No. 15, a Dodge Caravan hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 38-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Dodge (15 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
