On Wednesday, 10 September 2014, in the evening at 21:26, in Jurbarko district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 106.22), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Voyager and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Chrysler (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
