On Monday, 15 September 2014, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kaunas, on Kalniečių street, at the junction with Kampo street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Skoda Octavia. One person was injured — the 22-year-old driver of the Skoda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
