On Wednesday, 17 September 2014, in the evening at around 21:00, in Vilnius, on Laisvės avenue, at the junction with T. Narbuto street, a Porsche 911 Carrera hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 34-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway in a built-up area outside a crossing where there is a median strip. He was drunk (2.67‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
