On Tuesday, 23 September 2014, in the evening at 22:18, in Vilnius, on Žemaitės street near No. 1, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Stilo and a Peugeot 206. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Fiat (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
