On Wednesday, 24 September 2014, in the afternoon at 13:15, in Vilnius, on Oslo street, at the junction with Laisvės pr., on a bridge, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70, a Mercedes-Benz Vito 115 CDI and a Mercedes-Benz 1622. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Volvo (42 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
