On Saturday, 27 September 2014, in the morning at 10:25, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva national road (kilometre 54.28), a Saab 9-3 registered in Great Britain ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
