On Friday, 3 October 2014, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Klaipėda, on Tilžės street, at the junction with Mokyklos street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Iveco 35-8 and a BMW 5er Reihe. One person was injured — the 41-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Iveco (a citizen of Estonia) (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
