On Sunday, 5 October 2014, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Vilnius, on Mindaugo street near No. 12, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz CLK200 and an Opel Astra-G-CC. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (17 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
