On Tuesday, 7 October 2014, in the morning at around 8:00, in Vilnius, on Kirtimų street, at the junction with Galvės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S60, a Mono-Transserviss FB-1224 registered in Latvia, a Fiat Panda and a DAF FT XF105.460 registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Volvo (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
